MIGA issued $22.95 million in coverage to Rabobank Nederland B.V., a Dutch co-operative bank and the primary lender to the agricultural sector, for its shareholder loan to its Istanbul branch. The loan to Rabobank Nederland Istanbul Branch will be used to finance projects by Turkish firms in the agribusiness, food, and healthcare sectors. MIGA insurance covers the loan against the risks of transfer restriction and expropriation.
