Internationale Nederlanden Bank, N.V. (ING) of the Netherlands received $30 million in MIGA coverage for its branch capital investment in Venezuela. ING, the first foreign bank in the country, will use the investment to establish its existing operations in Caracas as an official branch. MIGA covers ING's loan against the risks of currency transfer and expropriation of funds.
