Frank Linden
Frank Linden is Head of Reinsurance at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), a member of the World Bank Group. His primary responsibilities are to implement MIGA’s reinsurance strategy in order to optimize the use of MIGA’s capital, to syndicate and reinsure exposure that exceeds MIGA’s desired net retention levels, and to develop and maintain relationships with MIGA’s existing and prospective reinsurers.
Since 2016, Frank has managed MIGA’s SOE and Reinsurance credit risk in MIGA’s Finance and Risk department. He joined MIGA in 2010 as a Senior Risk Management Officer. Prior to MIGA, Frank was a Director in the New York head office of Merrill Lynch & Co. (now part of Bank of America) where he managed the firm’s country and sovereign credit risk exposure within the firm’s Corporate Risk Management department.
A US and Dutch national, Frank holds a Master’s Degree from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Master’s Degree from the University of Amsterdam.
