A World Bank Group guarantee project is helping small and medium-sized farmers in Brazil adopt conservation agriculture practices like no-till farming, crop rotation, and cover crops. With loans from Banco do Brasil—backed by MIGA and global banks—farmers like Maira Lelis are reducing carbon emissions, improving soil health, and enhancing drought resilience.
