The United States is the second-largest guarantee holder in MIGA’s project portfolio, with over $4.6 billion in gross issuance across 23 projects. U.S. investment firm JPMorgan Chase, one of the Agency’s top guarantee holders, has fully or partially invested in several of MIGA’s most recent and transformative projects in the Latin America and Caribbean region, including the Banco do Brasil No-Till Farming Project, the Soy Barranquilla Project in Colombia, and the Banco Nacional de Panamá – Social Housing and Small Businesses Project.
