Yann Burtin
Head of Western Europe
Yann Burtin, a French national, is Regional Head for Western Europe for the World Bank Group Guarantee platform and MIGA.
In this role, Yann is responsible for leading engagement with Western European investors, lenders, and partners, supporting cross-border investments into emerging markets through political risk insurance and credit enhancement solutions.
Prior to coming to MIGA in 2011, Yann joined the World Bank Group in 1996 and worked for 15 years in the World Bank Digital Department, managing projects in about 40 countries.
He holds a Master and Diploma of Advanced Studies in economics and international affairs from the University Grenoble-Alpes.
Yann is based in Paris, France.
