Luiz Distrutti

Luiz Distrutti is the Regional Head for Latin America and Caribbean at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). Luiz manages a high performance team leading  MIGA’s business development and stakeholders’ engagement in the region. Luiz has over 15 years of experience in structured finance, credit, and investments across the region.

Luiz’s previous leadership roles include CFO at an energy company, leader of infrastructure investments at an alternative asset management company, and structured finance director at a global bank. Earlier in his career Luiz Distrutti also worked with climate change and as a power sector consultant.

Luiz holds advanced degrees from the School of Advance International Studies at Johns Hopkins, and University College London.
