Judith Pearce is the Global Head of the Integrity Unit at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), the political risk insurance and credit enhancement arm of the World Bank Group (WBG). From that position, she is responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of integrity are maintained in all projects supported by the Agency.

Judith’s office works closely with operations staff and environmental and social specialists, structuring projects to mitigate integrity and reputational risks. As such, she has an extensive understanding of project development in emerging economies, across a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure, alternative energy and “climate” projects, telecoms, agriculture and manufacturing.

Prior to joining MIGA, Judith worked in various capacities at a major investigative firm. Previously, she served as an Australian diplomat posted to East Africa and then as a briefing officer for the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

An Australian citizen, Ms. Pearce is an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and a Certified Fraud Examiner. She was awarded her PhD in 1993 from the University of Queensland.
