Disclosure
MIGA’s Policy on Disclosure of Information (available in English, Spanish, and French), aims to enhance transparency and promote good governance, with a view to increasing MIGA’s development effectiveness and strengthening public trust in the agency. There is a presumption in favor of disclosure. The policy defines MIGA’s obligations to disclose information about itself and its activities. In accordance with the policy, the agency discloses:
Institutional information
Project Information MIGA also discloses for all projects it is considering underwriting a summary of the proposed project (SPGs). In addition, the agency discloses an environmental and social review summary (ESRS) for Category A and non-SIP Category B projects.
MIGA may delay disclosure of information due to market conditions or timing requirements (related, for example, to capital markets transactions). MIGA does not disclose business-confidential information related to clients, internal communications with Board and management, or personal information about staff.

MIGA strives to respond to disclosure information requests within 30 calendar days. Applicants who are dissatisfied with the level or nature of MIGA’s response have recourse to a Disclosure Policy Advisor.
