Agency Celebrates 20th Anniversary 

This year marked the 20th anniversary of MIGA’s founding. The Convention establishing MIGA was signed in 1988. The occasion offers MIGA the opportunity to review how far the institution has come, take stock of successes and setbacks, and assess more fully the challenges that lie ahead.    >> more

Executive Vice President Omura Says Farewell 

MIGA’s Executive VP, Yukiko Omura said sayonara to the agency, wrapping up four years at the helm. During her tenure, the agency diversified and strengthened its portfolio. Preliminary figures suggest that new guarantee issuance reached close to $2.1 billion in fiscal year 2008.
