• Capacity Building—MIGA develops and enhances skills, knowledge, and tools available to investment promotion intermediaries through training in cutting-edge marketing and management techniques. MIGA works closely with clients who demonstrate a strong commitment to putting in place the policies, practices, and structures necessary to attract foreign investment as an integral part of their overall approach to private sector growth. In support of countries with such commitment, MIGA offers a tailored program of short- and long-term support and assistance, reinforced by a wide range of investment promotion tools and experts from around the world.
• Investment Facilitation—MIGA promotes foreign investment by bringing together foreign investors, host governments, and project sponsors. Much of this is done in association with our clients as part of our capacity-building programs. In addition, in cases where the nature of the investment lends itself to multi-country efforts, MIGA facilitates this through thematic and sector conferences.
