Employment at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), a member of the World Bank Group, is open to applicants who are nationals of MIGA’s member countries. In hiring, MIGA gives consideration to candidates’ qualifications and work experience, as well as their commitment to MIGA’s development mandate. In addition, the agency takes into account the World Bank Group’s diversity objectives.

MIGA Professionals Program

The MIGA Professionals Program aims to attract new and diverse talent to the agency to work in an entry-level professional position for a non-renewable term of two years. This program is open to applicants under 35 years of age with an advanced degree and a minimum of five years working experience in the relevant field.

Selected candidates are assigned to one of MIGA’s department to work as a full member of the team:

•         Job description for Underwriter 
•         Job description for Financial Officer 
•         Job description for Risk Officer

In turn, staff are expected to sustain high performance, maintain their skills, and work innovatively and collaboratively.

In addition to meeting the specific requirements of each role, candidates must be able to work effectively with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, possess strong analytical skills, and be fluent in written and spoken English. Fluency in a second language, particularly French of Spanish, is desirable. Women and individuals from developing countries, particularly from sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean countries are encouraged to apply.
